In 2012 I scanned a number of family photos taken in the fishing villages along the west coast of Vancouver Island. I'm guessing from the size of the negatives that most of the photos were taken in a period from the late 1940s to early 1960s.
My wife has told me stories about what it was like to live along the coast. These were fishing villages and many of the photos were taken aboard the boat or by the shore. The villages had no running water and no electricity. These photos were taken in Ceepeecee, my wife's birthplace.
