One of my favorite and most challenging photo themes is #TreeTuesday. In spite of living in one of the most heavily forested states in the US, I find it difficult to find a suitable subject.
Ideally it would be some lone windswept specimen on a mountain top. The problem is that I can't find that tree. It is surrounded with a forest. Complicating the matter is the fact that the ice storm of 2008 was absolutely devastating. Eight years later and will still have broken tree tops and and asymmetric specimens.
Saturday I stopped at a local orchard in Greenville, NH. The apple trees are in full bloom and I love the way the trees have been pruned. I chose this shot for the theme.
